The burial site includes seven grave pits comprised of multiple individuals, with the final overall number of individuals still pending analysis. CMC and SMMC Visit Guam

Berger, during a visit to the Governor’s Office in Hagåtña, Guam, Feb. 23, 2022. The visit to the Governor’s Office was part of Berger’s visit to MCB Camp Blaz to receive updates on the construction of the base as well as speak with Marines assigned to the base. During the visit, Berger, who was accompanied by the 19th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Troy E. Black, participated in meetings with Government of Guam officials, as well as received briefings from senior leaders from MCB Camp Blaz and hosted a town hall with all Marines from the base.
