The burial site includes seven grave pits comprised of multiple individuals, with the final overall number of individuals still pending analysis. Various seeds undergo cleaning and processing at the seed laboratory on Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz, Guam, April 19, 2022. The laboratory is a part of the nursery on base that is home to native plants and trees found on Guam. The overall end goal of the nursery is to rebuild populations of numerous species while also reintroducing native plants into the base’s two forest enhancement sites.
