Senior Enlisted Advisor, Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz
Master Sgt Eugenio Ramirez
Master Sergeant Ramirez was born on July 10, 1980 in Torrance, California. In June 1998, he graduated from Carson High School, Los Angeles, California and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
 
In December 1999, Private Ramirez graduated recruit training from MCRD San Diego, California and immediately reported to Marine Combat Training in Camp Pendleton CA. Upon graduation, he reported to Meridian, Mississippi for Aviation Supply Specialist School. 
 
In May 2000, Private First Class Ramirez reported to Miramar, CA where he checked into Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 11 and was assigned to the Consumable Management Division. While stationed there, he participated in multiple exercises and deployments, which included UDP to Iwakuni, Japan and OIF in Kuwait.  He was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal in December 2000, to Corporal in July 2001 and to Sergeant in May of 2004.
 
In May 2005, Sergeant Ramirez reported to MALS-36 where he served as a Supply Response Division NCOIC.  During his tour, he participated in multiple exercises, to include Cobra Gold in Thailand and Clark AFB in the Philippines. In December 2007 Sergeant Ramirez received orders to Recruiting Duty.   
 
In January 2008, Sergeant Ramirez reported to the Basic Recruiters Course at MCRD San Diego, CA.  In February 2008 Sergeant Ramirez was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant.  Upon graduating from Recruiters School, Staff Sergeant Ramirez was assigned to Recruiting Station San Diego, CA and subsequently assigned to Recruiting Sub-Station San Bernardino, CA.  Staff Sergeant Ramirez served as a canvassing recruiter for a period of 17 months.  Staff Sergeant Ramirez was then hand selected and reassigned to Recruiting Sub-Station Clairemont.  Staff Sergeant Ramirez served as the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (SNCOIC) for a period of 19 months.
 
In April 2011, Staff Sergeant Ramirez reported to Kaneohe, Hawaii where he checked into MALS-24 and was assigned as the Squadron Support Division SNCOIC.  During this tour, Staff Sergeant Ramirez completed SNCO Career Course and SNCO Advance Course.  In October 2012 Staff Sergeant Ramirez was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.     
 
In July 2013, Gunnery Sergeant Ramirez reported to Operations and Training Directorate MCB Hawaii and was assigned as the Range Control Fire Desk Operator. During this tour, Gunnery Sergeant Ramirez coordinated and ensured the safety of multiple live range fire exercises.
 
In September 2013, Gunnery Sergeant Ramirez reported back to MALS-24 and was assigned as the Supply Response Division SNCOIC.  During this tour, Gunnery Sergeant Ramirez was responsible for the Aircraft Readiness of 4 Marine Squadrons and 2 Navy Squadrons.
 
In July 2014, Gunnery Sergeant Ramirez reported to San Diego, CA where he checked into Commander Naval Airforce Pacific and was assigned to Aviation Maintenance Management Team 3 as an Evaluator.  During this tour, Gunnery Sergeant Ramirez evaluated and ensured all Navy and Marine Corps Squadrons fleet wide adhered to the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program.  In September 2017 Gunnery Sergeant Ramirez was promoted to the rank of Master Sergeant.
 
In September 2017, Master Sergeant Ramirez reported to MALS-39 in Camp Pendleton, CA for duty as the Warehouse Management Division Chief. 
 
In July 2018, Master Sergeant Ramirez reported to Marine Corps Activity Guam and served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor.  On October 1, 2020 Marine Corps Activity Guam transitioned to Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz.
 
He is currently serving as the Senior Enlisted Advisor of Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz.
 
Master Sergeant Ramirez’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with three gold stars in lieu of 3rd award.
