The U.S. Naval Base Guam (NBG) honor guard presents colors during an award ceremony held on NBG, Oct. 14, 2021. The award ceremony was held to present the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Guam Naval Exchange (NEX) the 2020 Best in Class Bingham Award for Sales Category 5 ($4-$12 million). The Bingham Award is presented to the top NEX’s around the world in nine sales categories for overall financial results and customer service. Established in 1979, the Bingham Award is named after U.S. Navy Capt. W. H. Bingham, who in 1946 was appointed by the Secretary of the Navy to lead an advisory board of what is now the Navy Exchange Service Command. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Andrew King)
